Simple cooking facilities in a communal area, barbecue area, seating, WC and shower are available on the site. The latter two are only available to those who have booked accommodation with us.
We open July 1, 2023! From the summer of 2023 we offer glamping, tent sites, tree tents and motorhome sites.
Renovation of our historic Bed and Breakfast and cozy cottages is in full swing. These are planned to be available for booking in summer 2025.

There is a designated place for household waste. Packaging recycling can be done on a smaller scale on site, in Hönshuset. For directions to larger council run recycling areas, see more here.
We want your stay to be as good as possible. It’s therefore important that you let us know immediately if there is anything that doesn’t live up to your expectations. So that we have a chance to make it right. For more information on how to contact us, see ‘Contact’.
As this is a peaceful and relaxing place it’s important that everyone contributes to keeping it that way, when it comes to noise levels and respect for the surroundings, nature, and other guests. Pets are not allowed in our facilities or in the accommodation you are renting from us. Pets visiting the area are welcome if they are on leads.
Glamping
Glamping is a combination of the words “glamour” and “camping”. It’s a more luxurious form of camping which combines hotel comforts with closeness to nature.

We offer several different glamping tents for 2 or 4 people with the possibility of an extra bed.
The tents are furnished to hotel standards with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. All tents are placed on a wooden deck with a private patio and BBQ.
The tents have insect netting and are fully waterproof and are equipped with lighting, a small fridge, a heater and electrical outlets. There are toilets in the adjoining hut, Mangårdshuset, and soft cotton towels and dressing gown are included.

Tree tents
A tree tent is a unique and innovative form of accommodation, offering an experience that’s out of the ordinary. IIt’s a kind of combination between a tent and a hammock, hung between trees or other fixed structures. Tree tents give guests the opportunity to sleep raised above the ground, which makes you feel more surrounded by nature, while at the same time enjoying comfort and stability. It’s a perfect alternative for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts who are looking for a memorable nature experience. At Stora Djupsås tree tents are one of our accommodation choices, where guests can experience harmony with nature and enjoy a very different kind of camping and relaxation.

We provide communal facilities like toilets and showers in the Mangårdshuset, a shared space, Hönshuset, with basic cooking facilities and access to electricity.
We don’t permit lighting of camp fires for safety reasons. We do however have a shared BBQ area and basic cooking facilities are provided in a covered space.

Bed and Breakfast

Bed and breakfast (B&B) is a type of accommodation where you can book a private room in a hotel like setting. As soon as the renovation is done Stora Djupsås will offer bed and breakfast with stays in charming and comfortable rooms. Breakfast can be booked as an extra. You’ll get a personal and homely accommodation experience.
As soon as the renovation is completed, we will be able to offer double and family rooms at our Bed and Breakfast.

We do not allow pets in our bed and breakfast rooms for hygiene reasons.
Tent pitches
A tent pitch is a marked area where you can set up your own tent to stay the night. At Stora Djupsås tent pitches are available for anyone wanting a more traditional camping experience. You can enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and peaceful surroundings and use the facilities on site, then sleep in your own tent.

Yes, you can bring your pet, but make sure you control them and keep them on a lead. Please note that they are not allowed in the common area buildings.

Motorhome pitches
A motorhome pitch is an marked area where you can park and set up your motorhome or caravan for a short stay. We offer motorhome pitches for caravans and motorhomes. The area offers beautiful natural surroundings, and comforts like basic cooking facilities in a shared area, Hönshuset, and shower and toilet in the Mangårdshuset block.

Only one vehicle at a time can be parked in the parking bay for fire safety reasons. We have a public parking lot for cars on the site. Your car can not be parked in the motorhome pitch.
Unfortunately not at present. Electricity is available for charging phones in Hönshuset.
Yes, toilet is included in the pitch fee.
Yes, pets are welcome, but be sure to keep them under control and on a lead. Please note that they are not allowed in the common buildings.
For fire safety reasons you are not permitted to put up awnings on the motorhome pitches. Sun canopies, outdoor seating, bikes and other objects are fine.

Yes, if you are sure that the last guest has gone and no maintenance needs to be done, you can bring your vehicle in early. But be prepared to move again in case something happens.
