Fallens Dagar is Sweden’s oldest city festival and always starts on the third Friday in July. Since its inception in 1959, Fallens Dagar has offered its visitors great music, fun activities for the whole family, a wide variety of performances and lots of exciting competitions.
The festival at the Falls in Trollhättan,
known as the Fallens dagar, takes its name from the city’s major attraction—the Trollhätte Falls. During the festival, you can of course watch the water once again rushing through the otherwise empty waterfall at specific times. Several performances and activities are also organized in the vicinity of the Trollhätte Falls.
Great artists from near and far
Fallens Dagar has welcomed several great artists over the years, both local Swedish artists but also international musicians. Enjoy the music in a quiet and cozy environment at smaller stages or a grand concert from the Big Stage in Folkets Park.
Kraftprovet and the tents at Hansenplatsen
Along Åkersbergsvägen, which connects Trollhättan city center and Trollhättefallen, tents from local actors showcase their activities. Hansenplatsen as it is called is also the starting point for the popular Kraftprovet held on the first day of the festival on Friday, a race around Trollhättan’s beautiful Falls and Locks area.
The program is presented on the Fallens Dagar website
